Welcome to the Webpage of the newly launched

Judicial Support Network (JSN)

The Judicial Support Network particularly welcomes African, Caribbean and Asian Judges, ( ACA) women, those from non traditional backgrounds, LGBTQ+, and those whose disabilities or health issues may affect them in their work. We want to help to promote diversity, inclusion, and respect for all members of the Judiciary, at any level from any background.

Who we are

About Us

  • The Judicial Support Network is open to all Judges in England and Wales, whether salaried or fee-paid.
  • It is independent and non-political.
  • It is confidential and we have a Proton email address, widely approved as a secure platform and you can set up your own easily, in seconds and without cost if you wish.
  • It is with the knowledge of the Senior Judiciary, and no objection has been raised to us forming such an organization, or to any Judge joining us.
  • It particularly welcomes African, Caribbean and Asian Judges, ( ACA) women, those from non-traditional backgrounds, LGBTQ+, and those whose disabilities or health issues may affect them in their work. We want to help to promote diversity, inclusion, and respect for all members of the Judiciary, at any level from any background.

We aim to be a group of Judges

In Your Corner

  • To support
  • To listen
  • To help with your concerns, whether those relate to appointment to higher roles, obtaining full time appointment, advancement, allocation of work, working relationships, issues with those who manage us, welfare, safety at work generally or with the many agencies in relation to which we come into contact, including HMCTS, JAC, JACO, JCIO, MOJ, GLD, Bar Council, the Law Society and CILEx.

News & Announcements

JSN referral to the Equality and Human Rights Commission

We launched the Judicial Support Network to support Judges and to be a voice for those who cannot raise theirs. Support behind closed doors is not enough.

For a copy of our Draft Constitution and more information, and if you are either a salaried or fee paid member of the Judiciary of England and Wales, please email me: jsn.kkqc.info@protonmail.com

We will keep the contact confidential. We will supply our data protection policy.

We have just launched, and we welcome members who want to help, who have ideas, who need help, or all three. We hope to build a full website in the future.

We recognize the limited assistance currently available to Judges and we would all have benefited so much from the support of a Group like this: there was no one there for us so we want to be there for you.

We hope you will join us and support us. Our aim is to ensure, as far as we can, that that the Judiciary is a more modern, inclusive, welcoming and positive working environment for all of us.

This is just the beginning, please help us to get it right.
